Challenge.
Ranging from large exhibitions, through to town hall events and internally managed factory open days, Sulzer Services has more that 40 potential events each year. The SLT needed an event mapping service that would help them to analyse the value of each event so they could quickly and effectively assign budgets and define whether responsibility should fall locally, or be elevated to a regional level.
Solution.
V-Ex Events assigned a dedicated Account Manager and created a collaborative online environment to map out all of the potential events in the 2024 calendar year. Key data was included for each event and a ranking system devised, based on the anticipated audience sizes, relevance to Sulzer’s core business and anticipated budget.
With the data analysed, the V-Ex Events team was then able to provide administrative support to ensure that all of the target events were signed up for and an event time table was created with key stakeholder brought into regular planning calls.
For smaller events our team handed over the logistical operations to the local teams, while for the large-scale exhibitions or factory open day events V-Ex Events provided a full event management service.
