Overview:

V-Ex Events was commissioned to deliver a memorable two-day corporate Christmas party, catering for over 600 guests each day. The event was strategically divided into two distinct experiences: a sophisticated corporate Christmas party for employees on the first day, followed by a magical children’s Christmas celebration for their families on the second day.

This required an overnight transformation to reset the venue.

Day 1: Corporate Christmas Party for Employees

On the first day, V-Ex Events curated an immersive Après Ski-themed experience for the employees. The client’s offices were transformed with a bespoke marquee in the car park, featuring fairground-style games, a winter cocktail bar, and a live brass band that maintained a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Inside, we crafted a chic winter wonderland setting with LED furniture, a DJ, and a custom ice-themed lounge area.

Dinner service was coordinated for the entire group, followed by fresh churros and hot chocolate, adding a warm, festive touch. Guests also enjoyed ice skating in the car park, creating an authentic winter experience.

Santa made a special appearance, interacting with employees, dancing with the brass band, and recording cheeky video messages for children at home, adding a personal and playful element to the corporate Christmas party.

Day 2: Children’s Christmas Party

The second day brought a complete thematic shift while maintaining the festive atmosphere. 

The winter wonderland area was repurposed into a winter crafts station, with themed characters engaging and entertaining the children. Santa returned, this time hosting breakfast in the office canteen and delighting the children with festive magic.

A cosy cinema area screening classic Christmas films was also created, along with a professional photo booth where families could capture cherished festive memories. To conclude the event, we distributed 300 presents, carefully tailored to different age groups and genders, ensuring every child left with a smile.

Event Branding:

Our in-house graphics team at V-Ex Events provided full event branding across both days. This included the design and production of all signage, directional boards, welcome displays, and themed visuals throughout the venue. The cohesive branding reinforced the festive atmosphere and helped guide guests seamlessly through the experience.

Challenges and Solutions:

Outcome:

The two-day corporate Christmas party, managed by V-Ex Events, was a resounding success. Separating the employee only and family events meant that both groups enjoyed an unforgettable festive experience tailored to their unique needs.
